♠ How to Play Solitaire
Objective
Move all 52 cards to the four Foundation piles — one per suit — built up from Ace to King (A 2 3 … Q K).
The Layout
- Stock (top-left): The face-down draw pile. Click it to flip cards to the Waste pile.
- Waste (next to Stock): Flipped cards you can play. Only the top card is available.
- Foundations (top-right, 4 piles): Build each suit from A → K.
- Tableau (7 columns): Main playing area. Face-down cards flip when they become the top card.
Rules
- On the Tableau, stack cards in descending rank and alternating color (e.g. red 7 on black 8).
- Only a King (or a stack starting with a King) can be placed on an empty Tableau column.
- Only an Ace starts a Foundation pile. Build up in same-suit order.
- When the Stock is empty, click it again to recycle the Waste (−100 pts).
- You can move an entire face-up run of Tableau cards at once by dragging the bottom card of the run.
